At the April 2015 meeting, a Motion was approved by the PATC-MS to create a method for the reimbursement of no more than $400 per person for the costs of a Wilderness First Responder (WFR) certification for up to four (4) members each calendar year.

Applications will be accepted by the Club Secretary on a first-come/first-served basis beginning in January each year.

Applicants must: A.) have been a registered member of the PATC-MS for at least one (1) year prior to application AND B.) agree to lead a clinic on first-aid skills within 6 months of the completion of the course.

Applicants will fill out a simple form application and agreement form available at the link below.  This form states that the Club will provide funds for the reimbursement of the certification once proof of completion is provided by the applicant.  It also states the duties of the applicant to fulfill their portion of the agreement in exchange for the reimbursement.

The EXCOM reserves the right to reduce or cancel this program at any time when deemed necessary for prudent Club financial reasons with the exception of any applications that have already been approved for funding.
