Join PATC-MS for the annual kick-off to another great
Seneca Climbing Season
for
Cinco de Mayo festivities
! We have reserved group site D at Seneca Shadows Campgrounds for Friday and Saturday nights.
Saturday night festivities
will begin at
6 PM
at the Gendarme. Cinco festivities include food, a salsa contest (the food, not the dance - $5 entry, winner take all!), a piñata bashing sponsored by the AAC, a presentation that is "TBD" right now (it'll be good...trust us!), and margaritas served up by the AAC for a $20 donation (you get a stainless steel cup + bottomless margaritas).
This is a No Waste Initiative event. To reduce waste, please bring your own reusable bowls/plates and utensils to eat all the delicious food
!
Seneca Rocks is primarily a multi-pitch trad climbing area.
This is
not
an instructional clinic/event.
It is strongly suggested that you arrange for a partner prior to the weekend and that you are comfortable with multi-pitch trad.
Parking at the group campsite is limited. If you arrive and there are no marked spots, park in the walk-in parking area. Fines have been issued in the past to cars not parked legally.
The google doc sheet below will help members coordinate rides and climbing partners for the weekend.
