July 30, 2022 @ 8:00 am - 4:00 pm
FreeThe participants will have an opportunity to practice placing trad gear at ground level, mock lead, and practice lead. All levels are welcome, but you will get the most out of this event if you have followed a few times or sport climbed outside. The event is open to club members who identify as female, non-binary, or trans.
Please bring a harness, helmet, shoes, belay device, and any trad gear and ropes you have. The hike in is about 2.5 miles and it is all uphill – bring lots of water, lunch, and trekking poles (optional). We will coordinate gear and carpools over email/chat ahead of time
