Women’s Trad Practice Event
June 11 @ 8:30 am - 4:00 pm$0.00
Irina and Jade have graciously offered their time and expertise to take some PATC-MS ladies out for a day of trad practice at Annapolis Rocks. This event is open to all who identify as female, non-binary, or trans. Irina and Jade will be going over the basics of placement and some anchor building fundamentals. The group size is limited to maintain a reasonable instructor/pupil ratio. All levels are welcome, but you will probably get the most out of this event if you have followed a few times or done some sport climbing outside.
Please arrive at the Annapolis Rock Trailhead at 8:30am. Here is the Google map link to get to the trailhead: https://goo.gl/maps/suov3eRdZMBerLGn9
Every time we have an event at Annapolis Rock, someone goes to the wrong trailhead 30 minutes away. Don’t let it happen to you! Use the link above. Please bring a harness, helmet, belay device, rope if you have it, and any trad gear if you have it. The hike in is about 2.5 miles and it is all uphill, so bring lots of water and trekking poles (optional) to make your life easier. Pack a lunch as well. Please cancel your registration if you are no longer able to attend – this event will fill up quickly so let someone else have your spot if you can’t make it.
