This is a day trip on Sunday August 16 to the Hidden Rocks area which is 15 miles south west of Harrisonburg and 2 1/2 hours drive from Washington DC. There are five sandstone crags offering sport and trad climbing up to 70ft and some limited toproping. The focus for this trip will be trad (more…)

This is a top roping trip to a local area – Great Falls/Sugarloaf/Annapolis Rocks/Thurmont Watershed on August 22 or 23 Great Falls is in Virginia and the other three destinations are in Maryland and all offer 40 – 50ft routes on good rock.
