Safe Harbor Gym to Crag
May 28, 2022 @ 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
FreeJoin PATC-MS on Saturday, May 28th for a day of climbing at Safe Harbor in southeast, Pennsylvania. Safe Harbor is a sunny sport crag that is perfect for cool-to-cold weather climbing. It is primarily a sport climbing area. It is 1.5 to 2 hours drive. The trip is limited to PATC-MS members and is capped at 10 climbers. There is a short hike to the climbs so dress appropriately and bring plenty of food and water for the day.
Climbers should also bring their own personal gear (harness, helmet, shoes, chalk bag, and belay device), 8-10 quick draws, and a 60-70m rope. It is preferred that you are at least climbing sport indoors for this trip and are comfortable giving a lead belay. Please note the carpool location is the I-95 commuter lot (linked here). Meet time is 8am to carpool up to Safe Harbor PA. We should wrap up around 4-5pm. Please utilize the google sheet signup so we know who’s got ropes and who needs a ride. If you don’t fill out the google sheet you may not receive important information about this trip.
