There will be a Club Meeting at Sportrock Rio on Saturday April 12 from 10am – 12 noon.

Sportrock Rio is in Gaithersburg about 15 minutes north of the beltway and can be reached from  I270.

This will be a quarterly meeting to discuss club matters, including upcoming events and plans for the remainder of 2025, There will also be a discussion of the ongoing parent club issue.

Our parent PATC Club is insisting that all mountaineering section members must in the future also join the parent club.  They are also requiring operational and financial changes that would seriously impede our operation as a club.

This is such a significant issue we encourage members to attend the meeting in person if possible.

SportRock members can use their passes and non-gym members can get a discounted day pass of $15 if they say at the front desk they are with PATC-MS. The point of contact is Logan—the director of the gym.

To climb after the meeting you will need to be belay certified by Sportrock.
