Carderock Climbing – Wednesday Afternoon April 29

The Club is reinstituting the tradition of Wednesday climbing at Carderock.  From 3:30 onwards there will be several experienced PMC members setting up topropes for members to climb.  If you have a toprope setup please bring this…..and if you are not familiar with Carderock ask the people present what you should set up. 2pm update (more…)

Hidden Rocks Saturday May 16

This is a day trip on Saturday May 16 to Hidden Rocks which is 15 miles south west of Harrisonburg and 2 1/2 hours drive from Washington DC.  There are five sandstone crags offering sport and trad climbing up to 70ft and some limited toproping. Birdsboro Sport Climbing May 1-3

Birdsboro is a climbing area in Pennsylvania, some three hours drive from Washington DC. It’s primarily short single pitch sport climbing from 5.6 – 5.14.
