PMC Birthday & Holiday Party – Saturday November 15

The 2025 PATC-MS/PMC Birthday and Holiday Party will be held from 3-6 pm on November 15 at the Carderock Pavilion.  There will be climbing, weather permitting, beforehand. Gunks Trip Sept 25 – Sept 28

This is a three day trip to the Schwangunks, a trad climbing area about 80 miles north of New York City. The idea is to arrive Thursday evening (~5 1/2 hours driving time), pitch tents at the AAC campground, climb full days on Friday and Saturday; Sunday break up camp, climb 1/2 day, drive back. Thurmont Watershed Sept 14

Let’s hit up Thurmont Watershed TWS rocks – Ed rocks!  It’s a smallish predominantly toprope crag north of Frederick MD.  There is climbing info on mountainproject and it’s covered in Vol 1 of the  Maryland (Kochte) guide. Seneca Rocks – Chili Cookoff October 17 -19

A weekend of good climbing and even better chili! The Seneca Rocks Chili Cook Off is on October 18th at the Gendarme’s porch. This is a top roping trip to Sugarloaf/Annapolis Rocks/Thurmont Watershed on September 27 or 28.   Date and destination will be chosen based on the answers to the registration questions.
