This is the Washington DC area premiere of  ‘Catching Pinecones‘, the story of Jan and Herb Conn.  Also showing is Will Gadd’s latest offering ‘Wall of Walls’. 

These films are being shown at the AFI cinema in downtown Silver Spring MD on March 11 from 6:30-8:30.

There will be a Q and A after the movie with the director Chad Heddleston, as well as a mobile phone scavenger hunt between the films, with great prizes.

The premiere is sponsored by Movement Gyms, Sportrock Gyms, East Outdoors and the Potomac Mountain Club.  It is being  presented by JCRC, the John Christian Resource Centre, a climbing history website.
